Here are some characters I did for the Dickens project. I find character design and drawing people really hard so I decided to do a project that would force me to do these things!

I have finally finished my project hurray! I have been working on a double-page spread for a hypothetical book called: ‘Ten Victorians Who Changed The World.’ Its aimed at KS2 children (7-11 year olds) and I have done some research into what they would be looking at in the curriculum at this stage (the Victorians which are clearly THE BEST). This example I’ve done is the life of Charles Dickens, because I watched Bleak House lately and got inspired. The booklet at the bottom of the spread opens out and has 8 mini pages of an illustrated biography.
Each spread would open out horizontally and have elements of paper engineering to be quite interactive. Would like to finish the whole book if I had more time but for now, here is one page…

It’s 1st December! One of favourite music videos:David Bowie and Bing Crosby. Some awkward small talk and then they break into song.
